As the 40th anniversary of Earth Day is soon upon us, Casio got inspired and created the Eco-Baby-G BGR300GR-3. The watch incorporates the company’s Tough Solar Technology and has recharging capabilities so no need for a new battery and no tossing old batteries into a landfill. The Eco-Baby-G is available in trendy colors and comes in a recycled box. Available in March. $110.
The Casio G-Shock Frogman GWF1000-1 watch is a fifth generation watch with a new Casio feature: the self-adjusting multi-band 6 Atomic timekeeper that automatically updates its time based on the signals received from China, United Kingdom, Germany, United States and Japan transmitters. It also has a dive time measurement mode, a DLC-coated stainless steel case and bezel with a black rubber strap, an electronic chronograph, four daily alarms and it’s water resistant up to 200 meters. $700.
With the success of the Pathfinder and the PAW1300 Slim, Casio has meshed the best of both and created this new Pathfinder sporting a slim design, the PAW2000T-7V. It has a duplex LCD display and it comes with multi-band atomic time keeping suited for the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, China and Germany. Other features include an auto receive function, manual receive function, it’s solar powered and is water resistant up to 100 meters. $350.
The G-Shock Frogman GWF1000-1 will be getting itself a well deserved update this year. It will have an even bolder appearance and a new stainless steel case for added durability. It will also have new features like a dive time measurement mode, dive time log, and a tide and moon graph for tide tracking. It also features a six-band atomic timekeeping receiver and Tough Solar rechargeable battery.
This Casio G-Shock MTG1100-1A has a whole lot under it’s belt. The watch has a large-capacity solar powered battery, a six-band self-adjusting atomic timekeeping receiver, 29 city world timer and a whole lot more. It even has a mechanism to correct itself if the time is set wrong.
Here’s a watch we haven’t seen yet in the G-Shock series by Casio. It’s the all black Gulfman 9100MB-1ER. It’s both shock and rust resistant and it has an EL backlight, protective mineral glass, solar power, five alarms, 200m water resistance and radio-synced time. It’s a rugged watch that will take a lot of wear and tear and the rust resistance is a real bonus for those who wear their watch day in and day out. ~$430.
Calling the Casio Cubic Puzzle watch a puzzle watch is actually somewhat of a misrepresentation as there is actually no interactive puzzles to be found here. instead, what you get is an animated display alongside basic functions such as 12/24 hour time and date functionality, stopwatch, alarm and a backlight.
