The Bovet 1822 Chronograph, reminiscent of the Art Deco era, has a steel case measuring 46 mm wide. It has a powerful self-winding Caliber 13BA01 Chronograph movement with protective sapphire glass as well as a transparent sapphire caseback. There are two sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock as well as hours, minutes and seconds markers on the dial. The Bovet Trilogy Three-In-One Watch is Bovet’s entry for Only Watch 2009, and we are definitely impressed by it. It is shaped like a pocket watch, with the Mona Lisa being etched in miniature on the mother of pearl backing. The reason it is called three-in-one, is because it can be used as a pocket watch with the included chain, attached to an alligator strap to wear as a wristwatch or make use of the stand to turn it into a desk clock.

This watch is 42 mm wide and features 18k gold in either rose or white. The watch features automatic jumping hour movement and is extremely elegant in it’s operation. The correct hour is shown in the aperture window, while the minutes are displayed on a disc around the face with the indicator being at the 12 o’clock position.

Ever wished you could see the exact moment when the hour passes by? I mean, right at the very instant the minute hand reaches 60 minutes and begins a brand-new hour? Well, Bovet grants your wish and introduces this Fleurier model with the jumping hour complication. The center of the watch reveals the hour indicator disk and around the rim is the minute ring. When the white arrow for the minutes reaches 60, the hour dial jumps instantaneously to the next, with no in-betweens. Everything that’s happening in the watch is proudly displayed behind the sapphire crystal, including the self-winding caliber 13BA04 movement and the handcrafted module bridges. This wildly designed art-deco inspired luxury watch has so many elements to observe. The bull-head style case is 46mm wide with a top lug structure that wraps around the screw down crown. Both the case and pushers are made of 18k red gold but in the black version of the case it’s interesting because Bovet chose to cover/hide the gold case with the black PVD. Functions include a standard tri-compax chronograph, the signature serpentine seconds counter hand for the chronograph, a tachymeter and a pulsometer. As for the name of the watch, the hands are actually made of meteorite stone and Saguaro is a type of cactus. ~$35,000.
