TAG Heuer has been in Formula 1 racing for several years now and they have seen some of the greatest names in the racing world. Those names include Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Kimi Raikkonen, Fernando Alonso, and for this year, the racing watch will adorn the wrists of 2008 Champion Lewis Hamilton. His new watch will be the Formula 1 Grande Date. A 44-mm wide satin-finished stainless steel case still sport the same soft look that made the Formula 1 series popular. It’s powered by a quartz chronograph movement. New for this edition is the scratch-resistant bezel made of titanium that’s carbide coated. A single small seconds sub-dial is located at the 6 o’clock and within it is the date complication. Two colors are available, black and white, both bathed in SuperLuminova coating.
