Seiko Hybrid Solar Watches

In the past Seiko has offered watches with concealed photovoltaic (PV) cells be stacking colored resin plates, so having a solar powered watch is no new news. But this time around, the Hybrid Solar Watch is a bit different because Seiko has used transparent plates so that the PV cells are visible to the human eye. Apparently the watch company is trying to attract the attention of the younger generation who is more ecologically and environmentally aware. Seiko will release types of these watches and it will be a nice edition to the solar powered watch market. Prices will vary. $215 – $283.
