Romain Jerome Titanic-DNA Tourbillon Steampunk

Romaine Jerome has only been making watches since 2004 but they made a statement at Basselworld 2009 with the Titanic-DNA collection. And the reason the word Titanic is in the name is because the oxidized steel bezel is actually made from the sunken wreckage. How impressive is that? This particular piece is appropriately named ‘Steampunk’ as it has many Titanic inspired details like the anchor-shaped hour and minute hands and the 80 hand-crafted rivets that gets its inspiration from boiler room and hull of the sunken ship. $TBA.
