The past two years have been rocky for Ventura; they filed for bankruptcy in late 2008 and designer Hannes Wettstein passed away before his v-tec Kappa watch was released. But things have changed and Ventura founder, Pierre Nobs, has the company back on its feet and they are relaunching the v-tec Kappa this coming summer. The ‘Titanox’ style watch features a VEN_04 Swiss movement and Ventura’s unique easyscroll system and will be sold with a bracelet or rubber strap.

Apparently the watch company is trying to attract the attention of the younger generation who is more ecologically and environmentally aware.
