Greubel Forsey Double Tourbillon Technique
Another exhibition of Greubel Forsey’s mechanical mastery is this Double Tourbillon Technique. While the tourbillon cage itself is complicated enough, the manufacturer decided to complicate it even more by placing a tourbillon within a tourbillon. The inner one rotates every 60 seconds while the other tourbillon rotates every four minutes. A power reserve indicator plus a subsidiary small seconds dial are the other complications for this mechanical wonder. The in-house GF02s caliber and every other mechanical member is proudly displayed on the watch face. A dial just won’t do justice to the watch so in its place is a transparent sapphire ring to indicate the hours. ~$500,000.
