Few people will change something that’s both reliable and complicated at the same time. Not Franck Muller. He saw the tourbillon that Breguet invented and decided to complicate it even more. Muller decided to put a minute hand on the tourbillon cage itself and this watch was the result. A rare and precious collectible, only 350 samples of the platinum Minute Repeater Imperial Tourbillon was made, and this one’s set to be auctioned off on June 10. The platinum case, dial, and movement are all signed by Muller himself. A power reserve indicator adds to the complication to this mechanically fascinating timepiece. $60,000+.
