F.P. Journe Répétion Souveraine Watch

Independent watchmaker F.P. Journe has made a charming watch for 2009, the Répétion Souveraine. This watch is extremely thin and the whole thing is only 8mm thick, and considering all of the bells and whistles (aka gongs and hammers) that are tucked inside of the movement this is quite an accomplishment. Features include a 4mm thick manually wound movement, minute repeater complication, time with subsidiary seconds and power reserve indicator. With the easy to read face and crisp design it’s a fine gentleman’s watch. ~$165,000.
