F.P. Journe Octa Perpetual Titanium Watch

The new Octa Perpetual Titanium is a handsome timepiece made by luxury watchmaker, F.P. Journe. Firstly, the emphasis is on the perpetual calendar as the dial has an off-center watch face. There are windows for the days and month and a hidden leap year indicator. This easy-to-read watch has a titanium case measuring in at 40mm wide with an impressive OCTA Calibre FPJ 1300-3 movement made from 18k rose gold. Having such a heavy gold movement inside defeats the purpose of a light titanium case so it probably feels like the weight of a typical non-titanium watch. Overally, it’s a nice looking watch and will most likely wear a hefty price tag. $TBA.
